About ClipDraft
Built because editing TikTok videos shouldn't take three hours
I spent months creating TikTok content manually — writing scripts, recording clips, cutting footage, adding captions, uploading. Every single video took hours. The content itself was good. The process was broken.
In early 2026, I built ClipDraft to fix that problem for myself. The idea was simple: describe a video in one sentence and get a finished TikTok draft delivered to your inbox. No camera. No editing software. No subscription.
What ClipDraft actually does
You enter a prompt — anything from "60-second motivational video for fitness creators" to "daily Bible verse with calming background" — and ClipDraft generates the video using AI. It picks the clips, adds background audio, writes the captions, and exports the result directly as a draft to your TikTok account via the official TikTok API.
The whole process takes about 60 seconds. The video is ready before you finish your coffee.
What we believe
Content creation should be about ideas, not production. Most creators spend more time editing than thinking. AI can handle the production. You handle the strategy.
We also believe in honest pricing. No subscription that charges you whether you create or not. ClipDraft runs on credits — you buy what you need, credits never expire. One credit, one video.
What we're building toward
ClipDraft started as a TikTok tool. The next step is Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts — the same one-prompt workflow, across every short-form platform. We're also building an automation system so creators can schedule recurring video series without touching the app at all.
The long-term goal is simple: a creator should be able to run a professional TikTok channel in 10 minutes per week.
Who is behind ClipDraft
ClipDraft is an independent product built and maintained by Julius, a solo developer based in Germany. The product runs on a combination of AI video generation (Atlas AI), OpenAI for scripts and briefs, and the official TikTok API for direct publishing. No team. No investors. Just a product that should work reliably.
